Wine storage inventorying
The Hub ERP is designed to handle any of the inventory types common to wine.
The Wine Hub will differentiate inventories owned by a business, and client stored wines (sometimes called ‘reserves’) that belong to customers and are managed by a merchant or retailer.
Client stored wines can be added in small batches as they arrive, or migrated in bulk using our cellar load function that matches wines with Liv-ex’s LWINs and the underlying Wine Owners’ database of close to 30,000 wines references (370,000 including vintage variation).
Wine data integrity means consistency of wine naming, accuracy of picking wine, and opens up a wealth of information such as market values and drinking windows which we maintain.
The billing calculation function enables storage services to be calculated according to precise requirements, invoiced and integrated with a payment gateway (in conjunction with accounting software integration).
Add on Private Client Reserves Management Lite, a client-facing web application, and enable your customers to access their stored wine collection, search and filter, download reports, and request deliveries or collections.
If you have a storage side to your business, or are a small warehouse that doesn’t need full Warehouse Management, the Wine Hub will be able to manage your customer stocks and consigned or brokered wines, including purchase order processing generated off the back of sales invoices.
For substantial warehouses or wine businesses with large numbers of storage clients, we offer a comprehensive ‘white label’ collection management platform with additional information including reviews and scores, and the ability to manage home cellars. Self-directed brokerage is available as an add on that integrates the Wine Hub with the Hub Webshop.
The following inventory types are supported by the platform:
- Physical inventory
- En primeur
- Overseas
- In transit
- Stock feeds offered by wholesalers/ importers
- Consigned by client
- Brokerage
