The Wine Hub’s consignment feature enables clients storing wine with you to self-direct, giving them the freedom to set their selling price based on pricing provided by Liv-ex (subject to an applicable Liv-ex subscription package) and live API calls to Wine-Searcher, in such a way that provides a safe and informed process for storage clients to participate more directly in the secondary market.

Empower your clients, but stay in control
As the merchant or retailer, you control the degree of assured steps through which clients are able to offer their own wines for sale. For example, you decide if a client is able to automatically offer wines for sale direct to your website; or whether you activate an approval step that allows you to review their pricing before going live on your eCommerce; or to commission condition inspection images to add to the Wine Passport, or to intervene should you wish to purchase the wines yourselves first.
You can also suspend or cancel consigned wines at any time and set individual processing fees and commission rates per client. Once client consigned wine is sold on your website, the Wine Hub automatically generates a sales order to the buyer and a purchase order to the consignor, showing proceeds net of selling fees.
Wine Hub’s self directed brokerage module can be switched for all clients who wish to consign wines from their stored collection, or just those you want to offer the service.
